Comparing Breeders' Cup Official Ticket Packages & General Admission Tickets
General Admission tickets to the 2024 Breeders’ Cup® are already on sale!
Interested in attending the World Championships of thoroughbred racing at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club from November 1-2?
Before hitting “complete purchase”, make sure you know all the ticket options that are available to you for this year’s event. While general admission tickets are now available to the public, you also can attend the 2024 Breeders’ Cup with an Official Ticket Package from Breeders’ Cup Experiences.
Below, we break down the difference between a Breeders Cup Experiences Official Ticket Package and a general admission ticket so that you can make an easy, informed decision.
Breeders’ Cup Experiences Official Ticket Package
Multiple Seating Options Around Del Mar
Every Official Ticket Package from Breeders’ Cup Experiences starts with a 2-day race ticket for Friday and Saturday at the 2020 Breeders’ Cup.
Each day, your ticket provides access to Keeneland and reserved seating at a specified location in coordination with the selected ticket package.
Hospitality Access
Hospitality access elevates your experience at Del Mar beyond what you’d receive with a general admission ticket.
Breeders’ Cup Experiences has access to luxury spaces on the grounds that each offer a unique atmosphere.
For this year’s event, Breeders’ Cup Experiences is offering a few different hospitality spaces — the Seabiscuit Skybox and the Stretch Run Grill West are both still available.
Each space is open during both race days and features a premium open bar, and snack and buffet options throughout the day as well as other special inclusions.
Insider Experiences
Official Ticket Packages take you closer to the action on race day with exclusive insider experiences that aren’t included with general admission offerings.
Insider experiences include a behind-the-scenes tour of the paddock, a framed photo of the event, an invitation to the welcome party, a paddock enclosure pass, and a Q&A with a celebrity jockey.
Travel and Lodging Accommodations
If you’re traveling to the Breeders’ Cup from outside the So-Cal area, this is one of the biggest appeals of attending with an Official Ticket Package.
All packages from Breeders’ Cup Experiences come with the option to add 3-night hotel accommodation to your order. If you add a hotel to your package, you will also receive round trip transportation to and from Del Mar on Friday and Saturday.
General Admission Ticket
Access to Del Mar
If your goal is to just get through the gates at Keeneland, there’s no better option than a general admission ticket.
General admission tickets are on sale and start at $67 per person.
Grandstand Access
The most basic general admission ticket on breederscup.com offers access to the infield and costs $67 per person on Friday and $133 per person on Saturday. A 2-day general admission ticket package can be purchased for $199 a head.

For those looking for a better viewing experience without purchasing an Official Ticket Package, a Turf Club general admission ticket is available. This ticket offers standing-room access on the 4th floor and costs $265 per person on Friday and $557 per person on Saturday. A 2-day Clubhouse general admission ticket package runs for $822 a head.
