Belmont Park
Belmont Park opened in 1905 and is best known for hosting the Belmont Stakes, the final leg in the Triple Crown. The track itself boasts a 1 1/2 mile length, the longest in the United States, and is no stranger to memorable moments. Perhaps the most iconic race in history, Secretariat’s dominating 31 length Belmont Stakes victory to clinch the 1973 Triple Crown took place on Belmont’s track. Having recently undergone a massive renovation, “The Championship Track” is reopening it’s doors in 2026 with a modernized look and upgraded features to improve the fan and competitor experience.
